Designed for an avid runner, music enthusiast, and art collector, this home sits perched at the top of a wooded hillside. The geometry of the house mirrors the natural curves of the land. a dynamic gallery space stretches out over a knoll culminating in a floating fitness studio. The sounds of the creek at the base of the hill add faint ambient noise and the western views cast long shadows through the main living space.

The house is comprised of two bedrooms, a fitness studio and a large main living space with a deck stretching out to the edge of the hillside. Direct sunlight pours in through the floor to ceiling glass windows and doors, tempered by strategic overhangs and operable shades to keep occupants comfortable year round.

Immersed in nature, many different kinds of wildlife can be observed seamlessly through the mostly glass living space. Fox pups warm themselves along the entry where the warmth of the radiant floor can be felt , owls roost in nearby trees and the occasional bear wanders by.
